The youth team of FC "Druzhba" will take part in the winter football championship of St. Petersburg with the support of MSC Group. The first match of the team will take place this Saturday, December 2.

One of the largest manufacturers of marine equipment in St. Petersburg became a new sponsor of the youth team "Druzhba".

The first match of the team of FC "Druzhba" in the framework of the Winter Championship will be held at Dynamo Stadium on December 2 at 11.00. In the first round, the athletes will compete with the team of FC "Zvezda" U-21.

MSC Group is one of the largest Russian companies developing and producing ship equipment and systems for the oil and gas sector. MSC has its own production facilities in St. Petersburg and successfully implements import substitution of equipment demanded by Russian industry and shipbuilding.

The St. Petersburg Winter Football Championship will be held from December 2, 2017 to the end of February 2018. 32 teams take part in the games.

FC "Druzhba" exists more than 60 years. The first teams of "Druzhba" were prize-winners of the championships of the Leningrad Region from 1957 to 1962. “Druzhba” was a start point for such football stars as Oleg Salenko (the top scorer of the World Cup in 1994), Dmitry Radchenko (Zenit’s forward of the early 90s, then the Spanish club Deportivo), Sergei Neyman (played in Dynamo in Leningrad, then in Moscow, hereinafter - the Spanish "Celta").
