MSC Grop from Russia for the very first time take place in 28th leading international maritime trade fair SMM 2018. At our booth, we demonstrated a reverse osmosis desalination system - Baikal.

MSC specialists offered our visitors to independently assess the quality of desalinated water. We put tinted salt water in the storage tank of our installation. Then water has passed through the membranes, which, due to its physical properties, retains salt and passes water. After desalting and water purification, the guests were able to taste pure fresh water. The reduced-size working installation was assembled specifically for demonstration at the exhibition.

During the exhibition, the company's management held a series of meetings and negotiations with shipbuilders and shipping companies, design organizations and suppliers of marine equipment. Specialists discussed new technologies and plans for further cooperation with foreign and Russian colleagues.

The international exhibition of shipbuilding, mechanical engineering and marine technologies SMM 2018 was held in Hamburg (Germany) from 4 to 7 September. According to the SMM press service, more than 2,200 exhibitors from around the world took part in the event, more than 50,000 specialists from 120 countries visited the exhibition.

MSC Group is engaged in the production and supply of equipment for shipbuilding and ship repair plants in Russia. The company cooperates with all major shipyards from the Far East to Kaliningrad.

The desalination plant "Baikal" is intended for the desalination of sea water and the production of pure fresh water. The system can be used in hotels and municipal facilities (schools, hospitals and others), on ships and vessels, in production.
